Cultural heritage you can touch

The practical seminar in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Quedlinburg This seminar focuses on the fascinating and important topic of restoring historic timber-framed structures. Alongside theoretical input, the primary focus will be on the practical application of traditional craftsmanship techniques. These techniques can be tried out in the workshops of the Timber-Framed Building Center and on site under expert guidance. Excursions to restored structures are also part of the seminar week. During the seminar week, students will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with experienced experts, engage in hands-on activities, and visit historic timber-framed buildings.
