Educational conference with the Weltladen Peine e.V.

The project team supported the Weltladen Peine in preparing and organising a stand at the 4th education conference of the Peine district education region. The aim was to present fair trade products and inform visitors about Sustainability, origin and CO₂ emissions to inform.

Measures implemented:

• Construction of an exhibition stand with interactive maps on product origin and CO₂ emissions

• Presentation of selected products from different countries (e.g. chocolate, tea, coffee, spices)

• Realisation of Join-in activities and distribution of information material on Fair Trade

• Online conference on the further development of Incentive strategies for young people and planning of the social media presence

• Production of Product videos to strengthen the online communication of the Weltladen

A high level of interest in fair trade products and sustainable consumption was aroused among interested parties. The measures increased the visibility of the Weltladen and supported educational work on the topic of fair trade.
